The materials оn the renewal of woody vegetation in pine forests of the upper Оb River basin located within the forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia are presented. The field investigations were carried out in 2003-2006. The process of natural regeneration of pine in grass forest types was found to bе rather complicated and complex.
