N.I. Lyamtsev Long-Term Dynamics of the Pea-Green Oak Twist Number in European Russia // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2011. No 6. С.79-85.

A comparative analysis of the long-term dynamics of the pea-green oak twist (Tortrix viridana L.) number in different forest zones of European Russia was performed on the basis of the data obtained in stationary investigations. The similar T. viridana population dynamics were found, including the origin of long-term outbreaks and the intense growth of its number. These outbreaks periodically take place. They are mainly characterized by the fact that in Moscow region, the minimal density of the T. viridana population and its mean number are lower, and chronic loci of outbreaks appear more rarely in oak forests. The latter are more complex in composition and structure than in the forest-steppe sprout oak forests.
