N.V. Zukert Forecasting of Weather Conditions in Forest Fire Season in Russia in the 21st Century // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2011. No 6. С.86-93. Possible changes in the climatic conditions of fire dangerous seasons during the 21st century are considered based on the results of modeling climate changes taking into account scenarios of IPCC on the development of the society and anthropogenic emissions of greenhouse gases. Potential changes in the climate of Russia in the 21st century are assessed on the basis of modeling of climatic conditions with the use of a set of models presenting the general circulation of the atmosphere and ocean. An increase in the duration and severity of the fire dangerous season will be observed from the middle of the 21st century, but its conditions may be less dangerous due to increase in precipitation over the whole territory of Russia.
