S. V. Osipov, L. A. Golovina Glades Around Fires in Suburban Forests of Vladivostok // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2012. No 3. С.77-81. A mechanism of spontaneous origin of glades around fires and formation of their spatial structure in a coniferous-broad-leaved forest in the vicinity of Vladivostok are considered. The glades around fire are results of catastrophic impact on ecosystems. Their formation occurs under the influence of fires proper and trampling.
