I.N. Tretyakova Сontrolled pollination of Siberian pine on a Clonal Grafting Plantation // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2013. No 3. С.46-53. The controlled pollination of 14- -17-year-old Siberian pine clones was performed on a clone grafting plantation of the West-Sayan Experimental Forest Station. Pollen of a tree with the annual cycle of developing strobililes and pollen of high-yielding plus trees from a natural stand were used as pollinators. As a result of the clone control pollination, the size of cones and their seed productivity were significantly higher as compared to those in the variants with open pollination. The highest parameters of the female cone yield were revealed in the variants with pollination of clone with pollen of trees having annual development of cones. The generation from the Siberian pine tree-pollinator with the annual cycle of developing cones was got for the first time.
