The status of near-tundra forests of Western Siberia and their natural dynamics associated with sylvicultural practice are considered. Based on the results of studies and generalization of subsequences related to cuttings and some other anthropogenic impacts on the northernmost ecosystems of Western Siberia, some measures on the alternation of forest generations resulted from improvement cutting (renewal of stands) are suggested.
