The results of the snow survey on felled areas in fir-Siberian pine forests of the Yenisey Ridge in 2006-2011 are presented. Orographic and biotopic features of snow accumulation in these stands at the different stages of forest regeneration are considered. The snow cover depth and its reserves are determined by the altitude and topography of this region that form "barrier-shadow" effects. On the local level, characteristics of the snow cover are related to the time of the cuttings accomplished, species composition of developing young forests, and technology of carrying the cuttings.

Dynamics of snow cover, snow depth, snow density, snow reserves, felled area, forest regeneration, successions..
