The approaches to use multispectral remote information in basic research of spatiotemporal organization of biogeocenotic cover with and without field measurement are suggested. It is postulated that the remote measurement reflects the biophysical state of biogeocenotic cover controlled by the processes of absorption and conversion of solar energy, and thus the information can be considered as the property of the cover. The interpretation of the measurement is considered in view of the dissipative thermodynamics of open systems. By combining the remote information with field measurements, according to the synergetics concepts the order parameters are derived. They are considered in relation to the governing parameter being the relief. The wide possibilities in application of the results of basic research to solve practical problems of management of biological resources are shown.

Multispectral remote measurements, biogeocenosis cover, forest vegetation, nonequilibrium thermodynamics, synergetics, multidimensional analysis..
