We try to widen the mensuration with the data on landscape and ecological traits. The integrated (based on key terrains) stratum-wise analysis of the forest structure is started in two representative terrains in landscapes of the left bank in Midstream of Northern Dvina (lands of Siya Parkland and watersheds of Oboksha and Seza Rivers, Northern Dvina tributaries). We are aimed to test methodology and techniques of identification of the regularities in landscape structure of the forest fund lands, which essentially enrich the silvicultural maintenance and biospheric potential. To create a background for elaboration of the improved scale of recreation evaluation of shelterbelt forests is the other objective. Also there is the task to develop the technical approaches to estimate an extent and a scale of forest transformation given the present system of forestry in taiga. This task serves the creation of the basis to forecast the pathways of the most probable types of dynamic sequences of forest stands after the transformation.
