Goncharova I.A., Sobachkin R.S. Productivity of the Grass-Shrub Layer in Scotch Pine Plantations // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2009. No 5. P. 63-68 (in Russian).

The species composition of the grass-shrub layers in a 25-year-old pine plantation was studied in the southern taiga subzone of Central Siberia (Krasnoyarsk krai). The structure and phytomass of the grass-shrub layers was determined. The changes in the productivity of this layer related to the snad diversity were analyzed. With increasing stand density, the productivity of the grass-shrub layer decreased, the share of participatine Equisetum sylvaticum increased, that of Dactylis glomerata decreased, and a spectrum of the most productive species changed.
