Tret'yakova I.N., Izhboldina M.V. Induction of Siberian Pine Somatic Embryogenesis // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2009. No 5. P. 43-49 (in Russian). The induction of embryogenic callus and getting of somatic embryos of Siberian pine were carried out using megagametophytes and immature zygotic embryos at different stages of its development. The cultivation was performed on MS medium with the 2.4-D, 6-BA, and ABA hormones. The success of Siberian pine somatic embryogenesis was related to the tree genotype and developmental stage of the explant.
