Bugaeva K.S. Typological Structure of Forests (Pogorel’skii Bor, Krasnoyarsk Forest-Steppe) // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2009. No 6. P. 46-53 (in Russian).

A forest-typological analysis of the forest cover in the territory of the Pogorel’skii Bor experimental base. A typological map for the area investigated was compiled. Ten forest types belonging to five groups of types were distinguished. Pine forests of green moss group occupy 58% of the territory investigated. Birch, pine, and aspen forests of forbs group follow the pine ones (30%). Steppified, tall-grass and grass-bog groups occur rarely and are related to specific features of sites. Peculiarities of the spatial distribution of forest types depend on the mesorelief and the main ecological factors – soil moisture and fertility. The comparison of the forest composition in the territory investigated with other forest-steppe pine forests showed that, despite the small area, Pogorel’skii Bor is a pine forest typical for the forest-steppe zone.
