The expediency to systematize areas according to the potential of development of secondary forest stands is substantiated based on the analysis of felled areas different in the combination of environmental factors responsible for forest regeneration. Classification of felled areas according to ten silvicultural categories with distinguishing 26 prognostic dynamic series of forest stands is suggested.
