Furyaev V.V.. Сhernykh V.A., Zlobina L.P. The Role of Regrowlh in the Formation of Forest Fuel Complex and Decrease in Fire Resistance of Ribbon-Like Pine Forests // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2010. No 3. P. 15-20 (in Russian).

In the environmental conditions of the Altai, the biomass of seedlings and regrowth in total mass of forest fuel averaged 76% in the dry ribbon-like pine forests, 70% in the fresh pine forests, and 87% in the grass pine forests. It ranged significantly related to the age of the stands and some other factors. The mass of seedlings and regrowth in the total mass of forest fuel decreases the fire resistance of dry, fresh, and grass ribbon-like pine forests by 47, 43, and 50%, respectively.

Ribbon-like pine forests, mass of regrowth, fire resistance of stands, forest fuel.
