Dvoretskaya E. V. The Influence of Natural Climatic Factors on the Number and Distribution of Box Regrowth // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2010. No 4. P. 27-33 (in Russian).

The most significant factors affecting the distribution and number of boxtree (Buxus colchica Pojark) were revealed, and the degree of their effect was assessed. The number of rising box trees in stands was stipulated by the temperature regime (17%), annual precipitation (18%), stand density (12%>), and slope aspect (45%). The influence of factors can vary depending on the environmental conditions. Some other, less significant factors can also affect the regrowth. The more active box regeneration was revealed at the limitary values characterizing the factors; under optimal conditions, the intensity of the bow renewal decreases.

Boxtree, regeneration potential, regrowth distribution, projective cover, informational coefficient of relationship.
