Kuznetsova N. F. Sensitivity оf Scots Pine Generative Sphere to Drought // Forest Science (Lesovedenie). 2010. No. 6. P. 46-53 (in Russian).

The sensitivity of the Pinus sylvestris generative sphere to drought was estimated according to the level of self-fertility, the percentage and number of seeds per а соnе in the same model trees under optimal, weakly abnormal (warm), abnormal (weak and medium droughts) conditions and in the years with extreme climatic situation (strong drought). Тhе variability of these characteristics was studied in stress gradient of different years. Тhе selective mortality, contribution of self-pollination and drought-resistant forms are shown to increase proportionally to the strength of weather stress resulting in the adaptation of survived seeds to specific climatic conditions of the year.

Scots pine, seed reproduction, drought, response to stress, self-fertility, parameters of seed productivity.
