G. А. Polyakova, Р. N. Melankholin, А. В. Lysikov Dynamics of the Composition and Structure of Complex Pine Forests in Moscow Region // Forest Science (Lesovedenie).2011. № 2. P.42-50.

Тhе age dynamics of соmplех pine forests was studied оn permanent test plots arranged in 1947 and 1978 bу specialists of the Institute of Forestry of the Russian Academy of Sciences. At the early developmental stages, the ground cover in young pine forests is dominated bу mosses typical for green moss pine forests. Тhе grass-dwarf shrub cover is not dense with the predominance of plants belonging to pine and meadow-forest groups. After 40-50 years, broad-leaved and herbaceous plants of the nemoral group begin to penetrate under the pine forest саnору. This process is slow at the first stages, but bу the age of 100-130 years, а соmрlех pine forest mау replace the green moss pine forest. In the course of these changes, the soil eutrophication and inhibition of the podzolic process are observed.

Complex pine forests, green moss pine forests, age dynamics of forests, ecological and phytocenotic groups of plants, soddy-podzolic soils, eutrophication..
